Roku City
Roku City is a fictional, animated screensaver that features a vibrant, scrolling city scene with pop culture references and Easter eggs. The screensaver was first released in 2018 and gained significant popularity for its charming aesthetic and hidden details. Hidden throughout the city are various movie and TV show references, the city also undergoes seasonal changes and occasional renovations as well as sponsored rentals and neighbourhood take overs.
Kelly has had the privilege of working along side the incredibly talented Roku City design team to assist in various sponsored neighbourhood take overs, pitches, cars, buildings seasonal Easter eggs and the occasional Roku expansion!
The team works to seamlessly integrate the sponsor into the Roku City world, considering both the sponsors needs and the aesthetic and end users of this beloved space.
